Horizon 2020: Cybersecurity in the Work Programme 2018-2020

The Cybersecurity contractual Public Private Partnership (cPPP) has provided input for H2020 WP2018-2020. The topics belonging to the Leadership in enabling and industrial technologies' Cybersecurity call are part of the contribution of the Commission to the cybersecurity cPPP. Within this framework, the European Commission has launched a call for a €50 million pilot to support the creation of a network of cybersecurity competence centres. The scope is to scale up existing research for the benefit of the cybersecurity of the Digital Single Market, with solutions that can be marketable. The experience collected in the selected projects will contribute to the design of the future competence network which will include a European Cybersecurity Research and Competence Centre. The call for proposals is open until 29 May 2018.

 The other topics to be addressed under this call regard: cyber-attacks management (deadline: 28 August 2018), Quantum Key Distribution testbed (14 November 2018), Building blocks for resilience in evolving ICT systems (19 November 2019).

The topics of the call Trusted digital solutions and Cybersecurity in Health and Care, under the Societal challenge Health, demographic change and wellbeing, focus on cybersecurity to assure data privacy, security and protection of health and care infrastructures.

The call Digital Security, located in Secure societies - Protecting freedom and security of Europe and its citizens, aims to ensure society as a whole benefits from user-friendly systems on cybersecurity, digital privacy and personal data protection. It addresses a series of topics revolving around: Cybersecurity preparedness - cyber range, simulation and economics; Cybersecurity in the Electrical Power and Energy System; Digital security, privacy, data protection and accountability in critical sectors (deadline: August 2018).
